changes for the upcoming 0.1.2.0


hey chaps. 

devlog overview
it seems that after every update the next update takes longer and longer to get out. which is why for this devlog, i will make a couple of new announcments for the scheduling for my updates aswell as what you can expect to be in the next update.

the new schedule
this new update is considered a minor update, however it has taken me a whole two weeks just to finish up one of the many features which i need to get out for you guys. in addition, previous updates have been excessively lackluster in their quality, as for a lot of the time, i was rushing out features that were buggy or didn't even work at all just to meet the 2 week window for the updates. for this reason, i am going to be changing the update schedule from fortnightly updates, to bi monthly updates. but don't worry, this doesn't mean there will only be 6 updates a year. what this means is that the maximum time an update will take is 2 months. i will release a progress report each month to let you guys know if the current update needs to be divided.

the update and its changes

this next update is all about quality of life, and most of these changes if i wasnt already working on them, were sugested by people who have played my game, so if you want to give some changes or ideas for the game, let me know in my discord.
currently the changes to be made next update are

  • leave menu (pressing esc to bring up a menu to leave the game)
  • lobby system 
  • fixed volume slider
  • better crosshair
  • shop ui
  • temporarily removed extra guns
  • bug fixes 
  • fix issue where players momentum carries when spawning
